Odoo ERP Implementation Specialist & Integration Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Odoo ERP Implementation Specialist & Developer to lead our transition from legacy systems to a fully customized Odoo ecosystem. In this role, you will not just sit behind a screen; you will imbed yourself in our day-to-day operations, map our unique physical workflows, and translate them into Odoo. The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of business analysis skills (understanding inventory, manufacturing, and sales workflows) and technical development expertise (Python, Odoo Studio, and custom API integrations). A major focus of this role will be building and maintaining seamless API integrations with METRC and LeafLink.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Mapping & Optimization:

Walk our floors, shadow our team, analyze our "As-Is" workflows, and design "To-Be" processes tailored to Odoo's best practices.

Custom Development & Configuration:

Configure core Odoo modules (Inventory, Manufacturing/MRP, Sales, Purchase, Accounting) and write custom Python modules or utilize Odoo Studio where standard functionality falls short.

API Integrations:

Own the end-to-end integration of third-party platforms, specifically building/maintaining robust connections with METRC (for compliance tracking) and LeafLink (for B2B wholesale orders).

Data Migration:

Clean, extract, and migrate historical data (SKUs, inventory counts, customer/vendor databases, opening accounting balances) from legacy systems into Odoo.

Staff Training & Change Management:

Create user-friendly documentation and SOPs. Lead hands-on training sessions for everyone from warehouse personnel to executive staff to ensure high adoption rates.

System Administration & Support:

Manage our Odoo environment (Odoo.sh or cloud hosting), handle access controls/permissions, manage backups, and act as the internal helpdesk for post-launch troubleshooting.

Continuous Improvement:

Manage future Odoo version upgrades, security patches, and the implementation of new modules as the business evolves.

Required Qualifications:

Odoo Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience implementing, configuring, and customizing Odoo (Enterprise edition preferred).

Technical Stack:

Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, XML, and Git version control. Experience with Odoo's OWL framework is a plus.

API Development:

Proven track record of developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and webhooks.

Business Acumen:

Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control (FIFO/FEFO, tracking lots/serial numbers), and basic cost accounting principles.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional ability to translate complex technical jargon into simple instructions for non-tech-savvy staff members. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves): Direct experience working in the Cannabis, Food & Beverage, or Highly Regulated Manufacturing industries. Direct experience developing integrations with METRC and LeafLink. Odoo Functional or Technical Certifications This a temporary position that will last the span of the onboarding Odoo project.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
