MDM Architect/Solution Architect with MDM

Job Summary The MDM Architect/Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level data architectures that promote consistency, quality, and scalability across the organization. This role focuses on Master Data Management (MDM), data integration, governance, and modern cloud-based data platforms. The position requires strong architectural leadership, collaboration across business and technology teams, and the ability to deliver solutions that enable trusted, high-value data assets for the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary architectural point of accountability for portfolio owners and technology leadership. Provide architectural guidance for initiatives of moderate to high complexity across multiple portfolios. Deliver full-stack architectural options that support business objectives while enabling long-term technology goals. Collaborate with team members to validate technical decisions during planning and design phases. Contribute to portfolio maturity assessments and support alignment with target technology states. Monitor large-scale project execution and evaluate architectural tradeoffs during delivery. Highlight technical debt and help shape remediation strategies across portfolios and delivery teams. Mentor architects, engineers, and analysts to promote growth and high-impact contributions. Drive resolution of investment decisions and identify cross-portfolio impacts on major initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert for multiple portfolios, providing actionable recommendations. Support the creation of enterprise-wide architectural views and share relevant insights with project teams. Enable business agility through active engagement in Agile delivery environments. Interpret business needs, evaluate solution alternatives, and provide long-term architectural guidance. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures. Proficiency with Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or IBM InfoSphere. Strong understanding of data integration, governance, metadata management, and data stewardship. Experience with data modeling, APIs, ETL design, and modern cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar). Ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions. Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift) considered a plus. Demonstrated ability to integrate on-premises and cloud data environments. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting multiple domains or portfolios. Preferred Qualifications Experience connecting architecture strategy with practical delivery across enterprise programs. Background in enabling strong IT-business partnerships and translating data strategy into tangible outcomes. Experience fostering continuous improvement and innovation in data architecture practices. Certifications AWS Solutions Architect - Professional Certification (required) Other relevant architecture or cloud certifications (as applicable)
