Job Details This position leads the design and governance of enterprise data warehousing systems and infrastructure. They establish standards for integration, security, and lifecycle management to ensure compliance and efficiency. This role oversees complex projects, mentors junior team members, and drives adoption of advanced tools and practices. Partnering with business leaders, they align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals and innovation needs. Job Description Summary This position leads the design and governance of enterprise data warehousing systems and infrastructure. They establish standards for integration, security, and lifecycle management to ensure compliance and efficiency. This role oversees complex projects, mentors junior team members, and drives adoption of advanced tools and practices. Partnering with business leaders, they align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals and innovation needs. Job Duties Lead the design and implementation of large-scale data warehouses and infrastructure. Architect efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources. Optimize performance of databases and data platforms. Mentor associate and mid-level developers. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot complex incidents and lead root cause analysis. Participate in projects that move systems or applications into Azure. Help manage user access, permissions, and security settings following organizational policies. Coordinate with the data engineering team to implement improvements or resolve issues. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems or related field. 5 years experience in data engineering, warehousing, or infrastructure including hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, Azure AD, resource management). Ability to understand complex business processes, rules, and business acumen to become a subject matter expert. Strong experience with cloud-native data platforms. Advanced SQL and database optimization skills. Proficiency in ETL packages, strategic design of extractions, and data integration process. Advanced knowledge of business intelligence applications and modeling concepts. Knowledge of real-time data streaming. Proven ability to lead projects and mentor teams. Strong scripting ability, troubleshooting and automation skills. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and healthcare stakeholders. Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, •patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
