  • Currently remote but can change to hybrid.
  • This position is primarily remote, but candidate needs to be onsite one or two weeks per month in Middletown, PA
  • Description of Duties Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust digital payment solutions.
Architect end-to-end payment systems, including card payments, mobile wallets, and other emerging technologies. Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Evaluate and select appropriate payment platforms, APIs, and third-party services. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in payment technologies. Integrate payment gateways, processors, and authentication services into our applications. Design seamless payment flows across web, mobile, and other channels. Implement robust security measures for data protection, encryption, and fraud prevention. Ensure compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and other relevant regulations (SOX, SOC2/3, CSA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.). Optimize transaction processing speed, latency, and reliability. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Fully document all created work associated with this position, including technical and functional designs and diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, best practices for others to follow, plus any other documentation as required by the PTC. This documentation shall follow the format and / or templates as instructed by the PTC. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients. Lead and participate in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems. Work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned. Adhere to and follow all PTC standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties. Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the PTC. Desired Skillset The candidate requires to have 5+ years of expertise in Payment Applications on projects of various sizes and subject matters. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of expertise in Payment Applications on projects of various sizes and subject matters. Bachelor's degree in business management or information systems.
Additional beneficial skills include:
Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects.
ITIL / ITSM
practices and methodologies. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
