This role will help lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of software that processes real-time weather content and model data used within AccuWeather's suite of innovative consumer and enterprise products. The candidate should have demonstrated experience and knowledge in building and maintaining new components that ensure reliable processing, visualization, and representation of data. This position will work cross-functionally with multiple development teams, senior leadership, and other groups in an Agile-based development environment. This hands-on position requires broad competence and technical knowledge of data processing and representation tools. Candidates should also have experience with cloud computing; Azure certification is a plus. A suitable candidate will also possess a deep knowledge of multiple scripting languages, relational databases, and complex file and data structures.
