Summary:

Autonomy Software Integration Engineer supporting design, integration, testing, and validation of autonomy software for unmanned off-road vehicle platforms. Job Requirements Experience integrating autonomy software with uncrewed or off-road vehicle platforms Experience supporting software design and development for autonomous systems Experience configuring and testing interfaces between autonomy systems and onboard subsystems, including sensors and actuators Experience troubleshooting software and system integration issues Experience implementing or adapting autonomy algorithms for navigation, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and decision-making Experience supporting software verification and validation activities Experience managing software release processes, documentation, and version traceability Experience coordinating test plans, KPIs, and test scenarios for autonomy system performance Experience conducting simulations and field tests Experience calibrating sensors Experience documenting test results and implementing improvements across software, electronics hardware, and vehicle platforms Knowledge of safety and cybersecurity considerations for payload and mission system integration Experience collaborating with hardware, systems, software, and testing teams Experience supporting technical deliverables within project timelines Preferred Skills Experience with intelligent control algorithms Experience with sensor fusion Experience with mission autonomy features Experience integrating payloads and mission systems Experience supporting uncrewed defense solutions Experience contributing to R D activities for autonomous or uncrewed systems Experience supporting customer demonstrations and technical briefings Experience working on U.S.-based market opportunities or local contract support Job Responsibilities Integrate autonomy software with uncrewed ground vehicle platforms Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to integrate software into vehicle platforms Configure and test interfaces between autonomy systems and onboard subsystems, including sensors and actuators Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure reliable platform operation Adapt and implement autonomy software for navigation, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and decision-making based on platform, mission, and payload requirements Support validation of autonomy solutions through simulation, field testing, and real-world evaluation Contribute to local uncrewed R D activities, including payload and mission system integration Support software verification and validation efforts Follow software release cycle procedures to maintain documentation and version traceability Coordinate with software and testing teams on test plans, KPIs, and performance scenarios Conduct sensor calibration, simulations, and field tests to verify system functionality and robustness Document test results and implement improvements across software, electronics hardware, and platform integration Address safety and cybersecurity requirements during payload and system integration Work with program managers to align technical deliverables with project timelines Provide technical input for proposals and customer briefings Support field demonstrations and respond to customer feedback on system performance
