at MAXIMUS in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead/Senior Appian Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation solutions in a federal environment. You will lead development initiatives, implement AI-driven capabilities, and ensure compliance with strict security standards. This role is remote and requires a Public Trust security clearance. TCS154, T4, Band 7Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications) using Appian 17.x or later.
- 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity, leading small-to-medium development teams.
- Proven experience delivering mission-critical applications within federal or highly regulated environments.
- Appian Certified Lead Developer ( ACD
- 301) strongly preferred. Active Appian Senior Developer certification with a clear, immediate path to Lead will be considered.
- Proficient in SQL /Relational Databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Agile software development. Security & Compliance

Citizenship Required:
Required due to federal contracting requirements.- Must be able to pass a government-sponsored background investigation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (Active clearance highly preferred).
- Knowledge of
FISMA , NIST
, Section 508, and records management compliance.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
