Application Development Engineer - Azure

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and develop internally and externally sourced software to support the Portfolio Management Group. You'll collaborate with cross-functional scrum teams, mentor junior developers, and shape technical directions and architecture. The position focuses on scalable, enterprise-grade cloud solutions in Azure, balancing delivery, security, and reliability. You'll work with stakeholders to set realistic expectations and contribute to the firm's growth through robust, maintainable software.

• Develop and test software from inception to user acceptance for large, multi-department projects
• Collaborate with scrum teams on design and implementation
• Assist Product Owners with estimation and backlog refinement
• Provide technical leadership and architectural input
• Present options to stakeholders including senior management
• Liaise with Infrastructure, Information Security and Service Desk
• Support production software operations Tasks
• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience
• Extensive Azure experience; Event Driven programming; API development; .NET and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience building scalable distributed systems (REST, microservices, messaging with EventHub and Service Bus)
• Experience in Testing and Automation (SDET)
• Azure ADF experience desired
• Solid software architecture experience translating requirements into designs
• Experience with cloud-ready apps on Azure and deployment tools such as JFrog
• Knowledge of HA, DR, and security in enterprise apps
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Key requirements
