Application Programmer#26-05247 Pennington, NJ 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/30/2026 Ends 5/17/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an IVR Software Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will work alongside highly talented IVR developers to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable self-service solutions for the contact center. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support IVR applications operating in a modern Cloud environment, using proven engineering best practices and high-quality development standards.

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of solutions

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience withplex applications ious experience with Speech-enabled IVR development using Genesys or Nuance Framework Experience with Java/JavaScript, Spring, Groovy & VXML Well versed in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot A strong track record of delivering software through multiple full project implementations Experience leading developers within an agile, fast-paced engineering environment Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to tackleplex challenges Desired skills: Familiarity in deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment Experience in building/deploying applications on MS Azure or OpenShift platform Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
