JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications Engineer who can help put together technical solutions and proposals for customers. This person will work closely with sales and engineering to understand what a customer needs, design a solution (like layouts and diagrams), and help price it out so it's competitive. What they'll actually do day to day:- Review customer requirements, drawings, and specs
- Help design electrical solutions and basic layouts
- Build out pricing and cost estimates for proposals
- Work with vendors to get equipment quotes
- Support sales during client conversations and presentations
- Help transition projects from the proposal stage to execution
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical)
- At least 4+ years of experience
- Bonus if they've worked with medium voltage power (switchgear, transformers)
- Comfortable reading one-line diagrams and technical specs
- Familiar with basic industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, etc.)
- Some experience with tools like AutoCAD or Visio Other details:
- Hybrid role in Wendell, NC (2-3 days onsite)
