Hybrid My client is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application deployment. The ideal candidate should also have strong knowledge of cloud security, automation, APIs, databases, and compliance frameworks in a hybrid work environment. Minimum Technical Qualifications At least ten (10) years of experience with AWS cloud platform and services including Amazon EC2/VM Instances, S3/Cloud Storage, Serverless (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions), and IAM (Identity & Access Management). At least ten (10) years of experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub and version control workflows. At least ten (10) years of experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. At least ten (10) years of experience building, deploying, and debugging web applications with REST APIs using Python, Node.js, or C#. At least ten (10) years of experience using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and container orchestration technologies. At least ten (10) years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB. At least ten (10) years of experience with encryption standards, secrets management tools (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2. Desirable Technical Qualifications Strong familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and scalable secure cloud solution design. Experience migrating legacy systems to AWS cloud-native services and re-platforming workloads. Experience implementing cloud cost optimization strategies using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and resource tagging models. Experience with automated security and compliance enforcement using AWS Config, Security Hub, and custom Lambda policies. Experience setting up centralized logging and monitoring using CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, and Splunk. Strong scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent automation tools. Experience with AI/ML cloud services such as Amazon SageMaker and multi-cloud architecture environments. Ability to support a hybrid work model with onsite availability 2-3 days per week at West Sacramento, California.
