Location US-IL-Downers Grove Responsibilities Sentinel is seeking a highcaliber, consultingminded Solutions Architect to join our presales organization. This role is intentionally targeted toward individuals who have built their careers in VAR or manufacturer presales environments and understand how to design, position, and scope data center solutions that deliver longterm customer value. We're looking for a trusted technical advisor who actively partners with Account Managers and customers to shape solutions, estimate services, and articulate Sentinel's value from a strategic, consultative standpoint. This is a full time opportunity working a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week being onsite at our Downers Grove, IL corporate headquarters. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales design role
Strong preference for experience at a VAR or systems integrator
Manufacturer presales backgrounds will be considered
Demonstrated experience designing, quoting, or holding certifications/accreditations with multiple vendors, such as:
Dell
Pure Storage
HPE
NetApp
Rubrik
Veeam
Proven ability to estimate services effort and scope delivery projects accurately
Clear experience authoring professional services SOWs
Established customer relationships within the Chicagoland area
Strong consultative instincts: operating as a technology advisor
Confident communicator with the ability to articulate value to both technical and business stakeholders
A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
