Pay:
$ 70-80 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match Overview We are seeking a Platform Owner / Senior Developer to support and enhance Soteria 2.0, a Corporate Safety observation platform used for safety reporting, incident tracking, and analytics. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on application ownership with business-facing solution delivery: approximately 60-70% practical application ownership and 30-40% configuration, reporting, and stakeholder enablement. Key Responsibilities Own and support the end-to-end Soteria 2.0 application stack Develop and maintain components using React (UI / component-based development), Node.js (APIs and services), SQL (data and reporting), and Azure (cloud environment) Deliver enhancements within the existing architecture (no full rebuild expected) Ensure system stability, usability, and performance Build and enhance safety observation forms, dashboards, visualizations, and reports supporting Corporate Safety insights Perform lightweight configuration and UI updates aligned to governance standards Leverage existing platform capabilities—avoiding unnecessary complexity Translate Safety workflows into system functionality, including safety observations and reporting, incident tracking and follow-up, hazard identification and mitigation, and leading vs. lagging indicators Apply and maintain consistent safety terminology across solutions Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate quickly Partner with Corporate Safety and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance and compliance standards Provide documentation and knowledge transfer Required Skills Strong experience with React, Node.js, SQL, and Azure Experience supporting full-stack applications in production environments Exposure to EHS, Corporate Safety, or compliance-driven system Ability to enhance systems without over-engineering or rebuilding Experience translating business requirements into practical solutions Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Required Education No Education Requirements Preferred Skills Experience in low-code or governed development environments Background supporting applications with ongoing enhancement needs Why Should I Apply?
