DevOps and Tools Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will enable Agile development and CI/CD across Fisher Investments' technology landscape. You'll support the Corporate Systems team by configuring and improving DevOps tooling, automating deployment workflows, and ensuring platform reliability. You work with cross-functional teams to connect current designs to long-term architecture while maintaining security and audit controls. This is a hands-on, on-call role with global scope, offering the chance to shape scalable, enterprise-grade tooling and processes. • Define development processes, tools, and roadmaps to align with long-term architecture
• Configure and support cloud-based Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) to improve development efficiency
• Develop tooling to automate development processes and strengthen security/audit controls
• Integrate and configure additional tools/frameworks to enable Agile at scale
• Promote use of DevOps tools across Technology groups
• Implement strategies to optimize DevOps processes and tooling
• Monitor system availability and performance within SLAs
• Resolve incidents and perform root-cause analysis with cross-department coordination
• Provide international and 24/7 on-call support for maintenance and outages Tasks
• 4+ years in DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AppDynamics, Splunk) or equivalent
• Experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, HCL)
• Cloud experience across private/public clouds (Azure, AWS, Google)
• Administration of Jira/Confluence Atlassian tools
• 3+ years in Docker/Kubernetes and containerization
• 3+ years with relational DBs (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or MongoDB
• Knowledge of containerization, performance, security, availability, monitoring, and operations
• Ability to train teams on DevOps tools and lead process improvements
• Bachelor in MIS, computer science, math, or related field; advanced degree preferred Key requirements
