Job Description

Experteer Overview As a DevOps Tools Engineer in Fisher Investments' Technology Department, you enable Agile development and CI/CD by optimizing and supporting the tools used across application teams. You will collaborate with DevOps and Application Development leaders to shape tool roadmaps, automate deployment, and improve platform stability. The role focuses on enabling scalable software delivery, secure practices, and cross-functional collaboration to support global growth. You will work with cloud-based Atlassian tools and a broad DevOps stack to drive efficiency and reliability. This opportunity offers impact through strategic tooling, automation, and enterprise-scale operations.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Define development and integration processes, tool execution strategies, and roadmaps aligning current designs with long-term architecture
  • Configure and support cloud-based Atlassian tools to improve development efficiency and tool stability
  • Develop tooling to automate development processes and strengthen security and audit controls
  • Integrate additional tools/frameworks to support Agile at scale
  • Promote the use of DevOps tools across Technology groups
  • Improve or extend DevOps processes and tooling strategies
  • Monitor system availability and performance within SLAs
  • Handle incidents and root cause analysis with cross-department coordination
  • Provide international and 24/7 on-call support with flexibility for maintenance Tasks
  • 4+ years of experience with DevOps tools (Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AppDynamics, Splunk or equivalent)
  • Administration of Ansible Tower or AAP for deployment and automation
  • Scripting in Shell, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, or HCL
  • Experience with private data centers, cloud and public cloud platforms (Azure, Google, AWS)
  • Administration of Jira/Confluence
  • 3+ years with Docker/Kubernetes and containerization
  • 3+ years relational database experience (MSSQL, MySQL, SQL, Postgres) or MongoDB
  • Experience in designing for Containerization, Performance, Security, Availability, Monitoring, and Operations
  • Ability to train teams and promote DevOps practices
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field Key requirements
