Job Description

Experteer Overview As a DevOps Tools Engineer in Fisher Investments' Technology Department, you will enhance the tools that support Agile development and CI/CD for the Corporate Systems team. You'll help scale DevOps capabilities across the technology organization, ensuring automation, security, and reliable operations. This role offers exposure to enterprise-grade tooling and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance global growth. You will work in a dynamic, on-call environment, shaping how we deploy and monitor critical applications.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Define application and integration development processes, tools, and roadmaps aligned with long-term architecture
  • Configure and support cloud-based Atlassian tools to improve development efficiency and tool stability
  • Develop tooling to automate development and enforce security/audit controls
  • Integrate and configure tools/frameworks to support Agile at scale
  • Foster adoption of DevOps tools across Technology groups
  • Implement strategies to improve DevOps processes and tooling utilization
  • Monitor system availability and performance within agreed SLAs
  • Resolve issues and perform root cause analysis for lapses in services
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support and flexible off-hours maintenance
  • Coordinate with other departments on service lapses and maintenance activities Tasks
  • 4+ years in DevOps tools (Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AppDynamics, Splunk) or equivalent
  • Experience administering Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform
  • Scripting skills (Shell, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, HCL)
  • Experience with private data centers/cloud and public clouds (Azure, Google, AWS)
  • Administration of Jira/Confluence
  • 3+ years with Docker/Kubernetes and containerization
  • 3+ years with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL) or MongoDB
  • Understanding of containerization, performance, security, availability, operations, monitoring and support
  • Ability to train teams on DevOps tools and drive continuous improvement Key requirements
