This role supports the design and certification of embedded mission software for use in modern defense platforms. The Work As an Embedded Software Engineer Sr., you'll be responsible for the development of embedded software for mission and communication systems. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop C/C++ and Python applications, integrate algorithms, and support verification and testing activities. You'll participate in team planning and meet your commitments to help the team deliver on technical performance, schedule, and cost.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM field
- 3+ years related professional experience
- Experience using C, C++ or similar programming languages
- Experience with full software life-cycle development, processes and tools
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Visual Studio, and Atlassian products
- Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on engineering intensive programs.
- Solid foundational understanding of Agile, DevSecOps and Digital Transformation (Dx).
- Strong and proven understanding of engineering development processes.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Active Secret Level security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200- $164,450.
