This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional with experience in cameras, networking, edge devices, and troubleshooting complex hardware/software systems. The FAE will work closely with internal sales, product, project management, and service teams, as well as contractors and clients, to ensure reliable and high-quality installations and ongoing operational support. Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission LPR systems including cameras, sensors, edge devices, and networking equipment Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance Calibrate cameras and LPR systems to ensure optimal performance and image accuracy Support firmware upgrades, software updates, and configuration changes Document installations, maintenance activities, and technical findings accurately Serve as the primary field support contact for client service issues Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical challenges Manage and dispatch local contractors for repairs and maintenance activities Create, track, and resolve support tickets in accordance with SLAs and company standards Provide status updates to project managers, leadership, and clients regarding site conditions and project progress Maintain compliance with safety standards, site requirements, and company procedures Travel frequently to customer locations, often on short notice Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) IP cameras and video systems Networking technologies (IP, PoE, switches, routers) Field hardware installations and troubleshooting Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows systems Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively Experience with
LPR/ANPR
systems Knowledge of edge computing devices and remote monitoring tools Background in intelligent transportation systems, parking technology, or security systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated locations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
