About the Role Siemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization. You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R D, and product teams. Key Responsibilities
Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs
Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops
Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins
Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training
Collaborate with R D and Product teams to influence product enhancements
Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows
Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies
Scripting skills (Tcl, Python)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field
Preferred:
Experience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)
Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)
Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE)
Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes
Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows (e.
g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs, or agent frameworks) to improve productivity and debug efficiency
