Full Stack Engineer Mathys-Potestio, LLC United States, California, Cupertino May 12, 2026 Full Stack Engineer - Internal Tools & Automation We are seeking a talented and collaborative Full Stack Engineer to support the development of internal tools, workflow automation, and operational efficiency initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. This role focuses on identifying process inefficiencies and building scalable software solutions that streamline engineering and business operations. A key area of responsibility will include supporting compliance automation systems, including data registry infrastructure and GDPR-related data access and deletion workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about building practical solutions that improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and enhance system reliability across teams. This is a 12-month remote contract opportunity. Candidates must reside within 100 miles of Cupertino, CA. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain internal web and native applications that improve operational efficiency Identify and automate repetitive manual processes across engineering and business workflows Build, maintain, and operate automation pipelines supporting data access and deletion requests Support and enhance internal data registry systems to maintain accurate data cataloging Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for internal dashboards and operational tooling Build back-end services and APIs that support automation workflows and system integrations Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, identify pain points, and deliver scalable solutions Communicate project status, blockers, and technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure long-term sustainability of internal tools Required Qualifications 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular Experience with back-end development using technologies such as Python, Node.js, Go, or Java Experience building internal tools, administrative interfaces, or workflow automation systems Familiarity with RESTful APIs Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Solid understanding of Git and version control best practices Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of security and privacy best practices including secure coding, authentication and authorization patterns, and compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or SOC 2 Preferred Qualifications Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools such as Airflow Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible Experience with monitoring and observability tooling Scripting experience for automation tasks
