Java Software Developer Wayne, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22527307 Summary Wayne, PA In-Person $73.73 - $73.73 per Year 60 Months Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description The Java Software Developer position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Java-based software applications and services that support to end-to-end digital workflows, and is comprised of the following duties: collaborating with project managers, business analysts, QA personnel, and other developers to gather and analyze business and functional requirements, translate those requirements into technical specifications, and contribute to overall technical design; developing application features such as user registration and account creation, secure collection and validation of user data, document and upload and processing, and workflow-driven verification steps; implementing assessment and questionnaire logic to support user profiling and suitability determinations; developing functionality to present required disclosures, terms and privacy notices and to capture user acknowledgements and consents; building and integrating modules that support account set-up activities such a funding and activation through integrated payment or transfer mechanisms; developing user guidance, educational resources, and support features to enhance usability and assist end users; writing clean, maintainable, secure, and well documented Java code in accordance with established standards; participating in peer code reviews and incorporating feedback to improve code quality; debugging , troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues across development, testing, and production environments; integrating internal and external systems using APIs and services to support data exchange and system inoperability; conducting unit and integration testing support and resolving defects; monitoring application performance and implementing optimizations to improve reliability ,scalability, and response time; and preparing technical documentation, including design notes, configuration instructions, and implementation/support materials to ensure maintainability and effective knowledge transfer. .

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of experience in Information Technology, software and Systems or a related occupation. Experience participating in the design and implementation of Java based applications, following established coding standards and best practices. Experience writing clean, efficient and well documented code. Experience performing unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of software. Experience coordinating integrations (APSs, SFTP, biometric devices, ERP/payroll tools) Experience preparing BRDs, configuration documents, and solution design presentation. Experience preparing UAT scenarios and test scripts and support HR teams during User Acceptance Testing, Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs to support real-time data retrieval, customer provisioning and order management workflows May telecommute from anywhere in the United States Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
