Mirth Integration Engineer

• Regional Health Center is seeking a Mirth / NextGen Interface Analyst with a strong healthcare integration background to support clinical and operational system interfaces.

This is a hybrid role with a meaningful on‑site presence, particularly during onboarding, to enable close collaboration with the integration team. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing interfaces using Mirth Connect, ensuring reliable, scalable data exchange across healthcare systems. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain interfaces using Mirth Connect Support data exchange between clinical and operational systems Develop and maintain interface logic using JavaScript and Java within Mirth (including boolean logic, switch statements, if/else conditions, and reusable functions) Incorporate external or shared code into interface solutions Build, maintain, and query SQL tables for mappings and reference data Work within Linux environments to support integration operations Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing interfaces Ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability across integrations Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including direct work with team leads during onboarding Skills Mirth, Mirth connect, JavaScript, SQL, Integration, hl7, Meditech EHR integrations Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting Meditech EHR integrations preferred Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Salina, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115.00 - $125.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
