Need:
We are looking for a Mid-Level .Net Developer with C#, SQL, and Front-End experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable, scalable systems while also having the versatility to contribute to front-end development when needed and adapt to our client's changing needs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET technologies Write optimized queries, stored procedures, window functions, CTEs, and complex reporting logic in SQL, and translate business rules into accurate SQL and backend models Contribute to front-end development tasks as needed, including assisting with component design, layout troubleshooting, and responsive UI patterns Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security Participate in code reviews and help maintain high development standards Design report request/response models, Excel exports, and multi dataset reports Work closely with IT Director and Operations team to define and ship new features
Requirements:
6+ years of professional software development experience Experience with C# and .NET, including knowledge of .NET 6+, async/await patterns, dependency injection, and modern service architecture Hands‑on experience modernizing legacy .NET Frameworkapplications into .NET Core, including refactoring WCF, SOAP, or tightly coupled service dependencies into RESTful async services Solid experience with SQL and relational databases Frontend experience with Vue.js (Vue 2/3) and Vuetify Experience working with
SCORM 1.2/2004, LMS
tracking, runtime data, objectives, and exam/attempt logic (or willingness to learn quickly) Experience with the
ASP.NET MVC
pattern, including MVC controllers, Razor views, ViewModels, validation attributes, partial views, layout pages, and server-side rendering Nice to have: Converting legacy RDLC/ReportService logic into SSRS based reporting Experience with Entity Framework Core, including migrations, LINQ optimization, and async data access patterns Ability to read, refactor, and replace legacy PortalService style dependencies, including extracting business logic into clean, testable services Experience with modernizing legacy codebases, including extracting business logic from MVC controllers into services, replacing WCF style dependencies, and converting synchronous patterns into async/await patterns Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
