Job Description
Experteer Overview As a Senior Application Developer, you will lead technical aspects of complex projects, translating business needs into scalable Microsoft-based solutions. You'll design and implement multi-region Azure deployments and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. The role focuses on delivering secure, cloud-first infrastructure and applications that support Fisher Investments' global growth. You'll drive technical excellence, collaboration, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation / Benefits
- Design, develop, and deploy highly available Azure-based solutions across regions
- Analyze, document, and implement software components; conduct unit/integration testing and deployment
- Set development standards and respond to customer requests or incidents
- Migrate infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions and ensure security/compliance best practices
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate platform deployments
- Coordinate coding/testing activities and evaluate alternatives; resolve technical issues
- Create process diagrams and maintain technical documentation
- Provide production support and client assistance as needed
- Develop unit test plans and participate in regression/performance testing Tasks
- 10+ years of full stack web development experience with Microsoft technologies (ASP.Net, C#, .NET Core, Azure DevOps, T-SQL)
- 8+ years OOP and relational databases experience, including within Azure
- 4+ years integrating Azure with third-party platforms or custom apps
- 6+ years delivering enterprise Azure cloud implementations
- 4+ years working with multiple cloud technologies in Microsoft stack (Azure IaaS/PaaS)
- 8+ years modern web app development with one or more JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred)
- 8+ years designing/developing on-premises and cloud-based Azure infrastructure
- 4+ years supporting distributed enterprise systems in cloud environments
- 8+ years experience with web apps, DevOps, SDLC, RESTful APIs
- 10+ years solid experience in C# and JavaScript and modern APIs
- 2+ years full lifecycle Azure cloud-to-cloud or on-premise development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Key requirements
