9+ month contract Seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead the rebuild of a legacy .NET application into a modern Node.js and React-based platform. This is a highly autonomous role where you will own the end-to-end modernization effort, leveraging AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native practices. Key Responsibilities Independently rebuild a legacy .NET application using Node.js, React, and modern frameworks Own full lifecycle development including architecture, design, development, and deployment Collaborate with architecture, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions Implement API-driven architecture and modern frontend frameworks Apply strong DevOps practices, CI/CD, and AWS cloud services Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability Required Qualifications 5+ years of full stack development experience Strong expertise in Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS Experience modernizing or rebuilding legacy applications (preferably .NET to Node/React) Strong DevOps experience and familiarity with AWS architecture Experience with REST APIs and Agile/Scrum delivery Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a loosely defined environment
