Senior Power Apps Developer Location:
100% remote. This is a United States based position, and candidates must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.
Assignment Length:
Immediate thru September 30, 2026 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT related field. 9+ years of professional development experience Currently hold an active Secret security clearance Power Platform experience with tools for creating dashboards, visualization, reporting and metrics such as Power BI, Cognos BI, DON/Jupiter, Databricks, and/or Qlik a bonus SharePoint development experience required Proficient with configuring and implementing Power Automate. Proficient in Power BI implementation of metrics and dashboards. Proficiency in developing PowerApps. Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods. Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate. Experience with Microsoft Forms. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience in data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science or software engineering a bonus Prior development experience using JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 a bonus. Verbal and written communication skills Multitasking skills Organizational skills Office 365 Development experience and designing in Microsoft Power Platform Services that includes PowerApps and Power Automate required Experience with Cognos BI, DOB/Jupiter or other similar tools for generating reports, dashboards, metrics and visualizations Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online Site Administration for MS Online Position Overview Support the Manpower, Analytics, and Human Resources Systems (MAHRS) program that is in support of the United States Navy. The program will assist in overseeing, developing, and maintaining policy for the HR system and data operations. MAHRS develops, delivers, and sustains Human Capital business analytics and tools to improve and support data-driven decision making. Responsibilities Design and develop visualization products taking complex information from multiple sources. Design, develop and support statistical and predictive analytics dashboards and reports using Power Apps, Power Automate or other tools such as Cognos BI, Qlik, and Databricks. Transform data sources into data tables within tools to include Powers Apps and SharePoint Development. Develop, customize, implement, and maintain current MS Power Platform Services (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI). Design, develop and manage Power Automate workflows, SharePoint lists, permissions, views, MS Teams and channels, and Power Apps solutions to automate business processes and improve efficiency across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MS SharePoint and MS Power Platform Services. Design, testing, and deployment of MS applications. Physical Demands and Work Environment This role primarily involves sedentary work, in a workplace and/or home office environment. There are some physical demands associated with the role, including: Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation. Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision making. Flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
