Senior Software Development Engineer United Parcel Service General Services Co. seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in

Timonium, MD:

Job Duties:

Design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate Native Mobile applications that provide business capabilities, solutions, and/or product suites. Provide systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery of technical solutions is on time and within budget. Research and support the integration of emerging technologies. Provide knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Analyze requirements, test, and integrate application components. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. Define application complexity drivers, estimate development efforts, create milestones and/or timelines, and track progress towards completion. Develop code branching strategies and implement them. Develop build and deployment pipelines. Deploy mobile apps to specialized app stores. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements:

(1) ASP.NET; (2) C#; (3) MVC; (4) MVVM; (5) JSON; (6) SQL; (7) iOS/Android SDK; (8) XCode; (9) Swift; (10) Java; (11) Restful APIs; (12) Azure DevOps and (13) Custom controls and pipeline development. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary:
