Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer 1 in West Des Moines, IA.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and guide a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Drive projects. Individual contributor role. Telecommuting is permitted. Must report in person to the location listed as the work location weekly. Multiple positions available.

Required Qualifications :
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field. Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software or application development and engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
4 years of experience with the software development lifecycle; experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, Mongo DB, or DB2. Must possess 4 years of experience with at least 6 of the following technical skills:
  • Experience with SAS or SQL;
  • Experience with
JAVA/J2EE
;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Experience with RESTful or SOAP Web Services;
  • Experience with Anthill or Jenkins;
  • Experience with Linux or UNIX;
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and performance tuning;
  • Experience with Urbancode Deploy;
  • Experience in Jira;
  • Experience with Application Logging Control tools;
  • Experience with Maven, Oracle, or SVN;
  • Experience in application performance, monitoring and optimization tools Blazemeter, Splunk, or AppDynamics;
  • Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) design and development;
  • Experience in automations and unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, or JMeter;
  • Experience in application or software security web application penetration testing, secure code review, or secure static code analysis.
