Job Duties:
Design new systems as well as develop and implement effective information technology (IT) solutions. Install, configure, and implement new systems and features into customer applications. Test systems by troubleshooting and debugging to ensure that they work as expected and for an optimal performance. Analyze and understand business problems/requirements and provide technical solutions to application problems and system administration issues. Hold responsibility for end-to-end electronic data interchange (EDI) and application programming interface (API) integration. Translate customer requirements into technical documents and provide direction to development team. Coordinate with multiple technical teams on project deliverables and timelines as well as enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. Write efficient and testable code, build reusable components, and create code documentation. Develop an understanding of the customer's business and identify opportunities for growth in all Matson services that are available. Quickly adopt to industry trends and developments and apply that knowledge to improve our services to customers and carriers.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Experience Required:
3 years of experience as Software Developer, Project Manager, or related occupation.
Alternative Requirements:
In lieu of Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience, will accept 5 years of experience as Software Developer, Project Manager, or related occupation.
Special Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following: Designing browser-based workflow mock-ups and collaborating with development teams to ensure usability and alignment of application workflows with business processes. Managing legacy systems migration to modern platforms, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the process. Coordinating EDI integrations using ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards to support accurate, timely, and compliant exchange of business data. Performing systems analysis to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements. Planning and tracking projects including task management, issue resolution, and adherence to timelines. Conducting test and quality assurance including system testing and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). Providing post-implementation support through end-user training, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of application issues. Position requires 10% domestic travel fully reimbursed by employer. Some telecommuting permitted (hybrid). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.

$104,840 to $169,000 per year
