Senior Xstore Architect - Store Systems

Top Skills Details Oracle XStore, XStore POS, Oracle RMS, SQL, Azure, Solution Architecture Experience Level Expert Level Description This Retail Client is seeking a Lead Architect who will lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for Store Systems projects. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, develop detailed architectural designs, and ensure the integration of systems and technologies. Additionally, this person will mentor junior IT associates, assist in their professional growth, and participate in the continuous improvement of architectural practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• TOGAF Certification Preferred
• 7+ years of experience in architecture.
• Must have prior experience of Oracle XStore and Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of architectural design techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in system integration and technology alignment.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the creation, review, and execution of a store systems capability strategy aligned with business requirements
• Develop and maintain enterprise store architecture roadmaps, ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy‑in
• Define enterprise-wide store systems architecture, standards, patterns, and processes
• Provide architectural governance and technical guidance across solution development and integrations
• Evaluate requests for change, assess deviations from standards, and recommend appropriate actions
• Design system components using established modeling techniques and architecture methodologies
• Support communication of strategic plans and change initiatives to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to research, data collection, and analysis to support architectural and strategic decisions
• Facilitate collaboration, innovation networks, and cross-functional idea sharing
• Develop and enhance innovation tools, processes, and infrastructure required to support continuous improvement
