Description Overview Our client is seeking a SharePoint Developer/Designer for a 6-8 week contract to help finalize and elevate the company's SharePoint environment. This role will focus on creating a consistent, user‑friendly experience across sites, completing content migration, and building a centralized SharePoint hub that supports teams across the organization. This is a hands‑on role that blends SharePoint development, UX/design, and end‑user enablement.
Please note: This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite/week in Dunwoody, GA. Please do not apply to this posting if you're not local to Metro Atlanta and willing to work onsite. Responsibilities
Design and implement a uniform look and feel across all SharePoint sites, including page layouts, navigation, branding, and visual standards
Complete the migration of remaining files and content into the appropriate SharePoint locations
Partner with department leaders and end users to understand what data and information they need easy access to
Design pages and dashboards that surface each team's key information effectively
Build out a company-wide SharePoint site that serves as the central hub for the entire organization
Develop reusable templates, web parts, and page designs to ensure consistency across departments
Configure document libraries, lists, views, and permissions for each team
Create training documentation and quick-reference guides on how departments can manage their own sites
Deliver hands-on training sessions to department site owners and contributors
Provide support to site owners as they take ownership of their spaces
Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and partner with IT on integrations Requirements Required Qualifications + Proven experience developing and designing SharePoint Online environments + Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, lists, libraries, and site collections + Experience creating SharePoint site designs, templates, and web parts + Ability to translate business needs into intuitive SharePoint solutions + Comfortable working directly with business users and stakeholders + Experience supporting migrations and content organization in SharePoint Preferred Qualifications + Experience designing dashboards and information‑rich landing pages + Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integrations (Teams, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
) + Strong documentation and end‑user training experience + UX/UI sensibility with an eye for consistency and usability
