Contract (12 months with possible extension) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines. This role requires deep expertise in modern cloud data warehousing, strong SQL development skills, and hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-performance, enterprise-grade data solutions that support advanced analytics and business intelligence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions for both batch and real-time processing. Build and optimize data solutions using Snowflake , including advanced features to support large-scale analytics workloads. Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and data transformation logic. Implement data ingestion and processing frameworks using tools such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpark . Architect and support secure, cost-efficient AWS-based data platforms . Contribute to data modeling efforts, including dimensional modeling , slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), and fact table design. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and monitoring. Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize queries and pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, estimation, and documentation. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data management, or data warehousing. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake . Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Redshift or similar). Advanced proficiency in SQL development and performance tuning . Experience building enterprise-scale data solutions and analytics platforms. Solid understanding of data modeling principles and best practices. Experience supporting testing cycles and production-ready deployments.
