Job Description Software Engineer (C# / .NET)

Compensation:
$130,000-$160,000 base salary, depending on experience About the Role We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong C# and .NET background to support the development of complex, performance‑critical systems. This role is primarily backend focused and emphasizes software architecture, event‑driven systems, and real‑time data processing. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams and contribute to both new feature development and enhancements to existing platforms. This position requires regular onsite work in Vista, CA to support hardware integration and system testing. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain C#‑based software systems Develop backend services, Windows applications, and system simulators Work with event‑driven and message‑based architectures handling streaming data Contribute to new feature development driven by customer and program needs Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Scientists Apply strong software architecture principles to ensure performance and scalability Participate in Agile development with test‑driven development and CI practices Troubleshoot, debug, and support deployed systems Core Technical Focus C# and .NET backend development Object‑oriented design and reusable architecture Event‑driven systems and messaging patterns Dependency injection and advanced design patterns Test‑driven development and continuous integration Performance‑critical and real‑time systems Hardware and data acquisition integration We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
