Job Title:
Software Engineer Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing a real-time data ecosystem that integrates high-speed sensor and video data. As part of this role, you will contribute to a system that ingests and processes telemetry from players, balls, cameras, and high-speed video capture, delivering near-real-time insights. The project is building toward a minimum viable product by year-end, with plans to continue expanding beyond the initial delivery. Responsibilities Design and develop real-time and near-real-time software systems. Build and integrate pipelines for high-speed sensor, telemetry, and video data. Contribute to system architecture and distributed system design. Implement production-ready software primarily in C++ and C#. Support the full lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation. Collaborate closely with onsite engineering and product stakeholders. Essential Skills Proficiency in C++ and C#, with a preference for C#. Experience with real-time messaging and distributed systems such as ROS or DDS. Ability to process high-volume, near real-time telemetry and control data. ideally with technical lead experience and hands-on coding. Effective communication skills for customer interactions, including biweekly meetings. Embedded software and RTOS experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of seven years of relevant experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. Willingness to learn and use new languages and technologies. Experience with embedded systems, Yocto, QNX, or similar platforms is a plus. Openness to AI/IoT is valued, but not strictly required. Work Environment You will be part of a small, agile team of 7 developers, where wearing multiple hats is the norm. The team has an average of two years' experience, and we are seeking someone who can lead and contribute at an expert level. Although the main office allows for remote work as needed, some clients are on the west coast, and remote work is common. The environment is supportive and flexible, fostering both professional growth and work-life balance. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Webster Groves, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
