Westford, MA About the Role We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Azure expertise to help design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms. In this role, you will be a technical leader who partners closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to modernize infrastructure, improve developer experience, and ensure reliable production systems. You will play a hands-on role in driving infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD best practices, cloud-native architecture, and operational excellence across our Azure environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Partner with application teams to enable cloud-native architectures (containers, microservices, PaaS offerings)
- Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads
- Implement and enforce security, reliability, and performance best practices across cloud environments
- Develop observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, etc.)
- Automate operational tasks to improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards, patterns, and documentation ________________________________________ What We Look For
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architectures
- Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code and automation-first approaches
- Solid experience running production workloads on AKS or other Kubernetes platforms
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
- Experience designing and supporting highly available, resilient systems
- Strong understanding of networking, identity, and security concepts in cloud environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
- Experience with multi-environment and multi-subscription Azure architectures
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and cloud security best practices
- Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps) and capacity planning in Azure
- Experience supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments
