Job Details Skills Python Summary About the Role We re looking for 2 highly skilled Sr SDETs who use AI as a core part of their workflow not just a tool. This role is ideal for engineers who can leverage GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to rapidly build automation frameworks, test suites, and CLI tools. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain API & integration tests using Karate (DSL, JUnit5, Maven, Cucumber, JDBC) Develop UI automation using Playwright (Python) Create AI-assisted CLI tools (Python) for testing, data validation, and log parsing Integrate automation into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and ensure stability Generate test scripts from OpenAPI specs, JIRA stories, and requirements using AI tools Design and manage synthetic test data (JSON/XML/Oracle scripts) Develop contract tests for microservices (Kubernetes/OpenShift) Collaborate with dev teams to shift testing left AI-Driven Expectations Generate Karate feature suites from OpenAPI specs within an hour Build Python CLI tools using AI in a single session Debug failures using AI-assisted root cause analysis Review and refine AI-generated code to maintain high quality standards Required Skills 3+ years in SDET / Automation Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework Playwright (Python) for UI automation Advanced Python scripting (CLI tools, REST APIs) Jenkins CI/CD pipeline development & debugging Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift Daily hands-on usage of GitHub Copilot & Claude Code Experience with Bitbucket/Git workflows Nice to Have Oracle/SQL (JDBC assertions) Spring Boot testing (@SpringBootTest) Observability tools (Dynatrace, Kibana) Helm / GitOps exposure Messaging systems like RabbitMQ Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools ("AI") that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
