In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting dynamic and scalable .NET applications. This position involves evaluating system requirements, prioritizing development projects, and producing clear, maintainable code using .NET technologies. You will be tasked with generating technical specifications and architectural frameworks, as well as testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing various .NET applications to ensure optimal functionality and dependability. Not only will you engage directly in coding and development, but you'll also guide and nurture junior team members, promoting adherence to high standards and best practices. Additionally, you'll document development and operational processes to aid knowledge retention and provide continuity across projects. Keeping abreast of technological advancements in the maritime and logistics sectors, as well as staying informed on current project management techniques, will be critical. Primary responsibilities include developing robust, innovative software that meets and exceeds existing standards, collaborating effectively within a team, acquiring familiarity with cutting-edge development paradigms, creating technical blueprints, revising and refining code, and debugging and testing an array of .NET applications. Furthermore, you will champion the development efforts of more junior developers. This full-time role operates on a hybrid basis, requiring candidates capable of commuting regularly to Warren, NJ. The benefits package is comprehensive, including 401(k) options with employer matching, diverse insurance plans (health, dental, vision), employee discounts, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, paid leave, and options for parental leave. To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the ability to handle multiple complex projects concurrently, a strong grasp of modern software design and development practices, and active engagement with relevant technology trends. The position requires expert knowledge of the .NET framework and Core, C#, object-oriented design, threading, dependency injection, asynchronous development, and Azure technologies. Proficiency as an SQL developer with T-SQL expertise, entity framework knowledge, and adeptness with REST APIs/Web services and WinForms is essential. Candidates with additional skills in HTML5/JavaScript, jQuery, JQWidgets, TypeScript, and Angular will be at an advantage. A BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Join a stable, global company where your expertise will drive innovation and excellence. Nigel
