Compensation:
$22.00 - $26.50 / hour (Dependent on experience; equivalent to $45k-$55k/year full-time) An experienced software engineer and entrepreneur is seeking a sharp, organized, and tech-focused partner to handle a 50/50 split of technical development and executive operations . This is a unique, high-growth role designed for a Computer Science student or recent graduate who wants to get hands-on experience building real-world software while learning how to run and scale a business from the ground up. You will split your time right down the middle: executing code and managing the systems that keep daily operations running flawlessly. Key Responsibilities Technical Development (50%)
AI-Assisted Engineering:
Utilize modern AI-augmented workflows (Cursor, LLMs, v0) to accelerate prototyping, building, and debugging web applications.
Junior Dev Support:
Handle frontend/backend tasks, troubleshoot bugs, and support core software development priorities.
Product Innovation:
Collaborate directly on building new internal software products and experimental startup spin-offs. Executive & Business Operations (50%)
Inbox & Schedule Management:
Triage communications, manage calendars, and ensure critical business tasks never fall through the cracks.
Operational Systems:
Maintain task tracking, project documentation, and build efficient workflows to keep projects on deadline.
Personal Assistance:
Provide occasional local administrative support to maximize daily production focus.
Qualifications Coding Fundamentals:
Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IS, or a related technical field. Familiarity with modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, etc.) is highly preferred.
