Job Description
Unity Developer We are seeking a skilled and experienced Unity Developer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality games and interactive experiences using the Unity game engine. Your primary focus will be on developing code and implementing game functionality, collaborating with other team members to design and develop creative solutions, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement game functionality
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address these issues
- Optimize game performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the project meets all technical requirements
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in the game development industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Unity Developer
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- In-depth understanding of the Unity game engine and its capabilities
- Experience with 2D/3D graphics development using Unity
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing games for mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with agile development methodology
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as
Java or Objective-C Salary:
