Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong full-stack expertise, including backend development in Python and front-end development in React, to support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of an AWS-hosted web application. This role will collaborate closely with data modelers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality applications while supporting multiple product teams in an enterprise environment. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Python and React . Design, write, test, and deploy clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance initiatives. Document data ownership, application architecture, and system integrations with enterprise data repositories. Ensure compliance with established development standards, policies, and procedures. Adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and tools to support evolving business needs. Contribute to technical documentation using Confluence and manage work items through Jira. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and application performance. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the development team. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer in an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience with Python libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Datetime, and Regular Expressions (Regex). 2+ years of front-end development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience writing SQL queries and developing stored procedures in SQL Server. Experience using version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab. Experience creating technical documentation using Confluence and managing work through Jira. Proficiency with testing frameworks such as PyTest, UnitTest, or Jest. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments. Experience working with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), AWS Glue, ETL, and ELT processes. Experience working within Agile development environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices.
