About the role We are seeking an experienced IFS Developer to design, develop, test, and support BPM-based web applications and enterprise integrations within a financial services environment. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to build and enhance scalable workflow solutions, integrate
REST/SOAP
services, and develop efficient SQL Server components while ensuring system performance and reliability. The candidate will participate in Agile delivery, support deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and production environments, and collaborate closely with QA and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, business-focused technology solutions. General Expectation 1. Strong hands-on experience in BPM-based application development and enterprise system integration 2. Proficient in REST and SOAP web services with solid understanding of SOA principles 3. Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures, functions, views, and performance tuning 4. Experience working in distributed systems with integration across legacy and modern platforms 5. Familiar with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, release cycles, and SDLC environments (Dev/QA/UAT/Prod) 6. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders What is needed
  • Hands-on experience with BPM-based application development, preferably on the IFS platform
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and system integration concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, views, and scripting)
  • Understanding of SOA principles and distributed system architecture
  • Experience working in Agile environments and across SDLC stages (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing enterprise applications
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across technical and business teams Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in application development, system integration, or enterprise BPM solutions
  • Hands-on experience working with the IFS platform (preferred) or similar BPM/workflow tools
  • Proven experience building and integrating REST and SOAP-based services
  • Strong background in SQL Server development, including stored procedures, queries, and performance tuning
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments with full SDLC exposure (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)
  • Prior experience supporting or developing distributed systems and enterprise integrations
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders What's in It for You
