USC only Must-Have Skills Hands-on experience with PowerEdge Rack and Tower servers Strong knowledge of RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems Experience managing and supporting large-scale server environments Preferred Skills Experience with PowerEdge XE servers Project Responsibilities Provide daily operational support within the data center environment Conduct regular walkthroughs to monitor equipment health (e.g., identifying amber alerts, overheating racks, etc.) Escort field engineers during onsite visits Manage LOIS parts and inventory tracking Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including serial numbers, rack elevations, and operational runbooks Coordinate with the customer for scheduled maintenance activities such as power, cooling, and containment systems Perform BIOS lifecycle management, including firmware updates, user management, and patching Collaborate with Dell support to coordinate and schedule break/fix activities with field service engineers Execute system updates and version upgrades as directed by the customer team
