Manufacturing Developer

About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Developer III to support critical plant systems and drive digital manufacturing initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of IT + Manufacturing Operations , working directly with plant systems, PLC data, and industrial automation platforms. You'll take ownership of projects from concept → deployment → support , helping optimize manufacturing processes through data integration and application development. Key Responsibilities Develop and support manufacturing applications using .NET technologies (VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET) Work with Wonderware (AVEVA) for plant system integration and monitoring Design and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance Integrate and manage PLC data acquisition systems Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to improve plant efficiency Own full lifecycle development (design, build, deploy, support) Troubleshoot production system issues and implement enhancements Must-Have Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Strong experience with Wonderware (AVEVA) 5+ years in a manufacturing environment Experience with PLC data acquisition Proficiency in:

VB.NET / .NET

Framework

ADO.NET / ASP.NET

Advanced T-SQL Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with Kepware or similar OPC/data integration tools Exposure to classic ASP Experience with Zebra handheld devices/scanners Industrial systems / MES / SCADA exposure

Pay:

$74,717.57 - $96,982.45 per year
