Job Description

Manufacturing IT Developer III Trenton, South Carolina (Onsite)
Salary:
$80,000 - $96,000 + 10% Annual Bonus Relocation Assistance Available Nationwide CLIENT is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing IT Developer III to support and enhance manufacturing systems within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep manufacturing systems experience, strong Wonderware expertise, and a proven ability to build, support, and optimize plant-floor applications and PLC-connected systems. The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting manufacturing applications that interface with production equipment, databases, and operational technologies across the plant environment. This position requires a technically strong, self-driven individual who can take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and post-production support. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and support manufacturing IT applications for plant operations Develop and support Wonderware-based manufacturing solutions and
HMI/SCADA
integrations Build and maintain applications using:
VB.NET ASP.NET ADO.NET
Advanced T-SQL Interface with PLCs and manufacturing equipment for real-time data acquisition Support Kepware and other PLC communication/data acquisition technologies Troubleshoot plant-floor system issues and support operational continuity Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, and IT teams Participate in full software development lifecycle including: Requirements gathering Design Development Testing Deployment Ongoing support Maintain documentation and ensure system reliability within manufacturing operations Support barcode scanning and handheld technologies including Zebra devices when applicable Required Qualifications / Must-Have Experience 5+ years of Manufacturing IT or Industrial Systems Development experience Extensive experience with Wonderware software tools Experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience with PLC data acquisition Strong T-SQL programming skills Strong .NET development skills with emphasis on:
VB.NET ASP.NET ADO.NET
Ability to independently own and execute technical projects Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kepware Familiarity with classic ASP Experience supporting Zebra handheld scanners/computers Experience supporting plant-floor production systems Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
