Job Description

The EcoStruxure Power Advisor engineer position is a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in using their technical expertise in electrical systems, their project management skills, their interpersonal skills and their passion for customer service to deliver an industry-changing remote service offer to improve performance and reliability of our customers' electrical systems. EcoStruxure Power Advisor is a proactive, analytics-based service, built on Schneider Electric's exclusive patented technology, which ensures that the customer's Power Management Software stays in-tune, providing accurate data they can count on. The advanced analytics engine also provides a detailed system-wide analysis identifying problematic power quality conditions that may cause equipment or reliability issues. What will you do? The Power Advisor engineer will employ their knowledge of electrical systems, power quality, data analytics and communications skills to:
  • Analyze customer power monitoring data using Schneider Electric's patented algorithms to assess the health of their electrical network.
  • Interpret data to identify performance gaps, power quality issues, and opportunities for system optimization.
  • Deliver detailed reports outlining system status, key findings, and tailored recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Lead remote consultation sessions to explain findings, help customers prioritize actions. Support customers in implementing solutions to keep their operations running smoothly.
  • Monitor and review corrective actions to ensure resolution of issues, providing ongoing guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with our direct and indirect sales force to manage customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads. Review contract deliverables and renewal status.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success managers, supporting customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to support continuous improvement of our platforms and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and customer interactions using our CRM tool (bFS). What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power quality principles - Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Two years of experience researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in a related field (Engineering, Business Operations, etc.)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting with strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical abilities with proficiency working with data. Ability to process and interpret predictive/conditioned-based analysis data.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Excellent soft skills such as people-person, team player, interpersonal s.
