This role supports a customer service engineering team focused on migrating legacy FactoryLink (FLink) applications to Siemens WinCC platforms. The engineer will work as part of a dedicated migration team to analyze, convert, and validate customer projects while ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and quality delivery. We are looking for a Service Engineer. This position will be based in Johnson City, Tennessee. You'll make an impact by: Execute FLink to Siemens WinCC migration activities as part of a structured, team-based engineering environment Analyze existing FLink applications and map functionality to WinCC equivalents under defined migration approaches Develop, modify, and validate WinCC screens, scripts, and system configurations Apply VBScript (VBS) and C to support migration logic, configuration changes, and routine troubleshooting activities Collaborate with migration team members to meet project scope, quality, and delivery objectives Participate in technical reviews, system testing, and issue resolution, escalating complex issues as appropriate Contribute to engineering documentation and knowledge sharing, supporting standardized migration processes and best practices You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years demonstrated hands-on experience with Siemens WinCC, including configuration and basic system troubleshooting Proficiency in VBScript (VBS) and C programming applied in WinCC automation environments Experience working in a collaborative, team-based engineering environment Ability to understand and convert legacy automation applications with established standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow structured approaches to issue resolution Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with FLink systems Experience with WinCC automation system migrations or modernization projects Familiarity with customer-facing project environments
