Job Description

A leading options market maker is expanding its Austin office and is known for employing some of the strongest engineering and technology talent in the trading industry. The firm builds high‑performance, low‑latency systems that power global options trading. We are seeking exceptional software engineers to join a world‑class team focused on building and optimizing the firm's trading and research systems. While the role will be C++ development, the company believes great engineers can quickly adapt-candidates may also interview i n Java, C#, or C. This is an opportunity to work on systems where nanoseconds matter and to collaborate closely with traders, quants, and other top-tier engineers. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, low‑latency trading systems Optimize existing codebases for speed, efficiency, and reliability Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to translate strategy into production code Work with cutting‑edge hardware and software to reduce latency and improve throughput Qualifications Strong experience with C++ , or expertise in Java, C#, or C with willingness to transition to C++ 3+ YOE, hiring for all experience levels Proven experience building high-performance or real-time systems Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and systems programming
