The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of Honeywell Experion Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry.
• Working hand in hand with the Client to ensure the design is technically sound.
• Develop process control applications
• Ability to prepare scoping, design and commissioning documentation for DCS Systems
• Development of DCS graphics based on P&ID's, operations and client requirements
• Migration of applications from one DCS Hardware to another DCS Hardware, primarily focused on the Honeywell family of Control Systems
• Develop custom Cutover Procedures to support migration projects

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Honeywell DCS control systems and field instrumentation in an industrial environment
• Experience in the Petro-Chemical/Refining Industry
• Knowledge in Honeywell DCS tools and software programs; experience with DOC4000 and SignalMatch will be an advantage
• Ability to monitor and update applications within a live production system
• Develop custom logic applications based on Client requirements
• Develop Control Narratives to support Design activities
• Integrate applications and configuring communication links between the DCS and third systems such as PLCs
• Ability to work on Client site as part of a team and independently
• Prepare technical and status reports for the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical or Instrumentation and Controls Engineering
• Experience with Honeywell Hardware/Software (TDC, Experion, C-300)
• Experience with Honeywell Control Builder, DOC4000, Trace and SignalMatch
• Experience in Yokogawa, Foxboro or other DCS Systems would be considered an asset
• Effective communications skills to enhance productivity and builds respect
