About Creative 3D Technologies Founded in 2017, Creative 3D Technologies (C3DT) began production in Austin, Texas, and has since grown into a larger facility in Cedar Park. We give businesses and communities the power to manufacture sustainably and enable creation without the usual constraints whether in prototyping costs or producible geometries. With a team of experienced industry pioneers, C3DT designs and handcrafts unique production systems dubbed "Factory-in-a-Box", shaping the future of industrial-scale distributed manufacturing. Role Mission Own the development, validation, and continuous improvement of print profiles across a wide range of materials on Creative 3D's manufacturing systems. This role ensures reliable, repeatable output while expanding the system's material capabilities and supporting internal engineering and production needs. Key Responsibilities 1. Print Profile Development Develop, test, and refine print profiles across standard, engineering, and high-performance materials Run iterative test cycles (e.g. calibration parts, benchmark prints) to dial in performance Optimize for strength, accuracy, surface finish, and reliability Document and version-control profiles for internal and customer use 2. Materials Characterization & Support Evaluate new materials for compatibility and performance. Act as an internal subject matter expert for materials selection and print strategy. Support engineering and customers with recommendations for material + process combinations. Build an internal knowledge base of material behaviors and best practices. 3. Print Operations & Queue Management Assist in overseeing internal print queue and ensure timely production of parts and test prints 4. Process Optimization Identify and implement improvements to print reliability and repeatability Standardize workflows for calibration, validation, and QA Work closely with engineering to feed back real-world performance data Help define "production-ready" profiles and benchmarks 5. Materials & Inventory Coordination Track material usage and forecast needs based on testing and production Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are stocked and available Direct experience tuning slicers and working with firmware is required. Applicants without this experience cannot be considered.
