Job Description

Description A Cloud Solutions Engineer designs, implements, and manages cloud-based solutions to meet organizational needs. They create scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures, deploy applications, and oversee the operation and maintenance of cloud environments. Their role involves collaborating with developers and IT teams, ensuring the security and compliance of cloud systems, and automating processes to improve efficiency. They stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continually enhance solutions and address emerging challenges, playing a crucial role in leveraging cloud technologies for business innovation and efficiency.
Job Functions:
Design and develop cloud-based solutions in Azure. Perform regular cost analysis in the Azure environment to optimize costs. Perform regular maintenance on cloud solution infrastructure. Provide 24/7 cloud infrastructure support as needed. Maintain PIM roles / Azure roles to ensure security compliance. Maintain 365 cloud solutions and conditional access. Optimize cloud infrastructure with suggested changes utilizing CCB approvals. Maintain company SSO with Entra ID. Maintain enterprise applications and service principles in Azure / Entra ID. Maintain Azure FW and Palo Alto Global Protect VPN configurations. Maintain public DNS records in Azure

Global. Support and deploy IaaS / PaaS / SaaS / AKS solutions to achieve company goals. Pull logs in Azure Log Analytics to perform RCA. Support DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Deploy and support VNets / NSGs with a strong background in Azure networking. Maintain and support SQL / Mongo / Postgres databases in Azure PaaS / IaaS. Monitor and configure Azure alerts for performance of cloud applications and infrastructure. Implement and monitor security measures using Azure Policy. Define best practices for migrating infrastructure and applications to the Azure platform. Proficient in scripting and automation for deployed environments. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Understanding of AKS / Microservices / Terraform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Seven years of experience in IT, software development, or systems engineering. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in cloud services and architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage solutions. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
